Where your health and wellness are the focus!

My website is still evolving daily….  a big THANK YOU to everyone that has visited my website, participated in my  promotions, and enhanced my life.

Firstly, I want to thank you for visiting my website! My name is Maya Lyn and I am a massage therapist, fitness enthusiast, and lover of life.

As a child in school, my favorite classes were health and physical education. I thought, now this is the way I want to spend every day of my life! However, as the school years passed I became more interested in world economies, travel and corporate structure and pursued a business degree in International Business Communications. I worked for 18 years in the Travel & Tourism industry, before leaving the corporate world behind.

In 1998, I moved from North Carolina to Ashland, Oregon, where I spent my winter days skiing; summer time hiking, biking, walking my cairn terriers, greeting Shakespeare guests at my B & B, working in the gym, doing mind & body therapy, playing in a salsa band, and teaching dance. Life was good!

Life is still good! However, it was time for a change. So, I moved from Ashland to one of the most beautiful cities in the world, San Francisco. I have lived here for over 4 years now, and I have enjoyed meeting so many wonderful people through personal training, massage therapy, teaching English, teaching fitness classes and on the dance floor.

My focus in my business and life is on helping people and their bodies (and English!). My daughter, Laurel, has always been one of my best teachers. As I watch her raising 3 beautiful children my interests have shifted. I gain great pleasure in helping women – helping them prepare their body for childbirth, get in touch with “baby” through massage, and helping them get back in shape after child birth.  She has blessed me with three beautiful grandchildren, Nila 81/2  years old, Jai 6 years old, and Luna 2 years old.  My other teacher has been my mother. A dancer, lover of life, and a new YOGI at the age of 69 … now at age 78 she is still does yoga daily, works out with hand weights, and walks several miles.  What a model!  Thank you, Mother.

No matter what age, or goal …. I love helping others.
